PATH (People Attempting To Help)
Greg Grubb, Executive Director
PATH’s annual community celebration called PATH Week will run from September 5 – 9. It is a week to raise awareness of PATH and its programs to “change the face of poverty, homelessness, and hunger in Tyler.” Greg Grubb, PATH Executive Director, said, “Every 3 ½ minutes, someone walks into PATH needing assistance. Last year, PATH provided hope to 22,776 individuals. It also has 56 safe and affordable rental homes for families who are trying to get back on their financial feet. A special luncheon will be held on September 9 at the Green Acres Crosswalk Conference Center. The guest speaker is Mia Birdsong, a family activist and co-director of Family Story. If you like to sponsor a corporate table, call 903-597-7284. You can order luncheon tickets online at PathHelps.org/PATH-Week.
